What is a "Perfect Match" Anyway? Finding Your Mate
At first hearing, the song famously sung by Tevya's daughters, "Matchmaker, matchmaker, make me a match, find me a find etc." seems to be them asking the slightly witchy Yenta to help them get hooked up and married. But perhaps it really is a plea to help them become the "Perfect Match", to help them find out who they are so they can actually find their soulmate?  As in "reveal what it is that will match me perfectly".

We all want love, respect and passion, but can we really be matched without really knowing who we are and what we bring to a relationship? Rabbi Drew Kaplan will lead a dynamic discussion and text study on the issue of finding a soulmate.

History of Jews and Cannabis
Contrary to popular mythology Cannabis was not discovered by the Hippies of the 60's as a way to expand their horizions or avoid the stresses of the 1950's.  Cannabis has been around since the Garden of Eden, (or the evolution of plants from the primordial soup depending upon your view) and has a long a storied past.

You may know that the rope and sails of the Age of Exploration were made of hemp fibers, or that Thomas Jefferson had hemp as a staple crop on his Virginia farm, but what about the MOT history?  Join the experts an find out the history of the Jewish relationship with Cannibis as medicine, textile crop and recreational drug.
